Our stevedoring department handles more than 2.000.000 MT of bulk per year! On 3 locations in Belgium and The Netherlands we make sure that all the goods are handled providing the best service for our clients, with respect for the safety and health of people and environment.

   ANTWERP (BE)

At our Antwerp-terminal, the old grain elevators were replaced in 2006 by a much more ecological E-Crane ®. Today, we discharge rapeseeds and sunflower seeds with this crane. The seeds are processed at the same location. Our client crushes the seeds to make fully refined vegetable oils for the food industry.

Our crane is equipped with a 10m³ grab, providing a discharge sequence of 450 mt/hr. Barges from 250 mt each, up to handysize vessels of 30.000 mt can be discharged smoothly.

At this location, we also handle vegetable oils. Parcels of up to 3.000 mt crude and refined oils are loaded and unloaded

   BERGEN OP ZOOM (NL)

In Bergen op Zoom the discharging of the grains takes place by means of a pneumatic elevator. Wheat, arriving in barges & small sea vessels, is discharged every year and processed locally. The wheat is used to produce starches, glucose and ethanol for the baking industry, breweries, etc…

   SAS VAN GHENT (NL)

In Sas van Ghent, we discharge corn and wheat arriving in barges and sea vessels from 300 mt up to 4.000 mt. The discharging takes place by means of a pneumatic grain elevator. The wheat and corn are used to produce starches, glucose and ethanol for the baking industry, breweries, etc…
